Francesco has been one of our favorite restauranteurs for many years and Cafe Sapori, his latest owned and operated West Palm Beach restaurant has quickly become the favorite of the Palm Beach set who rarely cross the bridges into West Palm Beach. Dada Restaurant Dada Restuarant is one of our favorite restaurants in Florida. Now celebrating their 10 year anniversary. Not only is Executive Chef Bruce a secret cullinary weapon, but the atmosphere is eclectic, friendly and there is always something terrific happening. Music, Poetry, Fashion Events are regular features but we really want to tout their cuisine. You will always have a great time at Dada so make your reservations early. Dada is a very popular place for both dinner and to just hang out at their lounge & bar. Have a great steak, seafood, house special or a burger and salad. You'll be surprised at how long you actually want to hang out at Dada. Music most nights. Poetry Tuesdays feature the best of the LitTrip. If you feel like dancing afterwards, goto Delux L,D, $ and $$. Dirty Martini Restaurant and Nightclub Dirty Martini is the latest hot spot for dining and dancing in Palm Beach gardens. Located in Dowwntown at The gardens in Palm Beach Gardens, Dirty Martini is busy each day from happy hour at 5 pm on. They have one of the most interesting menues and an incredible staff. An outside bar with tvs for sports enthusiats and two inside bars, one with a stage for live music. There is music nightly till 3 am both djs and live groups and celebrity appearances with the likes of Taylor Hicks from American Idol fame. You will love this place and will also start to see more Dirty Martinis around the country in your favorite cities soon. Dubliner All American Fare in a very hip restaurant nightclub. The Dubliner, now in Mizner Park Boca Raton is hot spot because the food is great, reasonably priced and there's a great mixed crowd 24 to 50. Beautiful yet casual open indoor and outdoor dining sections hightlights the Dubliner and specialties include fresh carved Prime Rib and steaks. You have to try their Lamb Burger if youre into burgers. Live and dj music and a great service staff makes for casual fun for a date or the entire family. Their desserts are amazing so leave room after dinner.The Dubliner is a comfortable place to sit down to a wonderful American meal without all the cullinary hype. The owners also know the music scene so expect to be entertained with the best performers in the region. Have a dance before dessert. L, D $$. Gratify Gastro American Pub Satisfy at Gratify. Simply the tastiest and most uniques small portion menu in town. Howley's is one of the oldest restaurants in the region. Opened in 1950 this favorite place has been recently transformed into a hip deco styled diner that although new, has the feeling of the good old days when burgers and malts were popular. But now, although you can have their breakfast specials anytime, you can always have fine cuisine the likes of any great steak house or trendy restaurant in the Palm Beaches. B,L,D, $ and $$. Kapow Kapow is an exciting great new convept restaurant right next to The Dubliner in Mizner park in Boca Raton. Your hosts at this authentic yet cosmopolitan Middle Eastern grille, Roy and Evelyn Assad will delite all your senses with their fine fare of Mediterranean Cuisine. The casual environment is as comfortable and beautiful as the food is delicious. Choose from a fine menu of various appetizers and main courses all prepared with you in mind. Long Boards Seafood Restaurant Long Boards (named after those really scool surfer long boards) has quickly captured the attention of the West Palm Beach dining crowd. A beautiful yet casual atmosphere with one of the greatest chefs in the Palm Beaches. The seafood entrees and appetisers were all fresh and delicious, the ribs were incredible and the assortment of menu itens and bar offerings were quite impressive. Long Boards is a restaurant you will want to visit often so get to know their great staff. Introduce yourself and be treated to a great non- pretentious family styled dinner where everyone there is ready to please you. L,D, $$ Luna Lounge & Mediterranean Restaurant Owners The newest lounge and restaurant to open on Celematis Street in Downtown West Palm BEach is the Luna Lounge just next to Pizza Luna. Same great owners and a beautiful new swanky lounge that satrts Happy hour 4-7pm, dinner till 11 and late night music, enetertainment, shows and danicing till 4 am on Weekends, 3 am during the week. Latin Mondays and Special Events, D, $$. Maison Carlos Owners Carlos and Lanie Farias have created the most elegant dining establishment in the Downtown West Palm Beach area. Just entering Maison Carlos you are at home in Italy. The finest food, wine, music and art surrounds you and their hands on service makes you feel not just like one of the family, but a special visitor. Executive Chef Robert Dedrick, formally of Aurole, Le Cirque and Palm Beach's Nando will delight you. L, D, $$. MoQuila Passionate and inventive, Karl Alterman has long been heralded by food critics and culinary aficionados for his innovative restaurant concepts - combining sumptuous dishes with great ambiance and energy. Alterman is well known in the restaurant circuit, topping the list for some of South Florida's most successful dining endeavors, Max's Grille, Red Bowl, Gigi's Tavern and Prezzo. Take pleasure in the bustling and inviting atmosphere of this new urban fiesta. On a road trip Alterman met Don Felipe Camerena and his son Don Carlos in the Tequila region of Mexico. Off The Hookah One of the greatest concept restaurants to enter South Florida, Off The Hookah is a beautifully designed dining establishment serving lunch and dinner while you are surrounded by Egyptian decor. From middle east delights to fresh sushi prepared with you in mind, everything at Off The Hookah is done with incredible entertainment flair. Evenings, Off The Hookah becomes a nightclub withthe best djs and performers keeping the party going until the late hours. Both West Palm Beach and Ft Lauderdale locations are an experience to enjoy. Reef Rd Rum Bar Very reasonably priced seafood dishes, appetizers and entrees with a great bar crowd. One of the most comfortable and beautifully designed restaurants in Dowtown West Palm Beach's Clematis Street District. Drink specials and clean cuisine in a great atmosphere. Renatos RENATOS is one of the most romantic dining destinations in all of South Florida. Located in Via Mizner off Worth Avenue RENATOS is one of the truly wonderful restaurants of the region. They know their food and wines so don't be shy if you have any questions, they love to please their guests.Offerings include: homemade pate of duck, pork, veal, truffles, macadamia nuts and spices baked in thin pastry dough, with sweet gherkins on the side. Robinson's Prime Steak House and Sushi Bar Robinson's Prime Steak House and Sushi Bar opens a new total diningand entertainment nightlife complex to the Port St Lucie Treasure Coast region of Flirida. Robinson himself is a restauranteur from New York who wanted to extend dinig into a complete evening out for his guests so they wouldn;t have to drive from Port St Lucie to West Palm BEach, The Gardens and as far south as Miami for a great evening out. Robinson's food is excuisite, everything has been thought through and the Sushi Bar is impressive as well. The nextdoor nightclub called La Zen sports a 100 seat VIP lounge balconey atop the main level dance floor and the club is as state of the art with computer lighing and projectors as any MImai hotspot. Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar ROCCOS TACOS & TEQUILA BAR is the brainchild of owner/host Rocco Magel one of South Florida's best restaurant and nightclub promoters for many years. L, D, $$ - $$$ The Cottage With so many snowbirds in Florida during the season, we felt an obligation to find a great place to have dinner and drinks, hang out and have fun with a group or find an intimate setting to chill out and not spend $150 - $200. The Cottage is a haven. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Antoine and his brother Andre and discoved that The Cottage is one of those places you'll feel immediately at home and comfortable in whether you're inside their dining room having tapas or handmade fusion cocktails, or outside on their garden patio enjoying a Quesadilla. Low couches, tables, swing chairs and a tented area away from the main outside bar area. Their inside bar sports an illuminated stained glass wall from a cathedral's salvage sale.The weekends are always fun at The Cottage day or night but one of our favorite nights of the week there is Monday Night. M-F, 5pm - 2 am Fri. & Sat. 10 am - 2 am $$. The Forge The Forge Restaurant is the home of the #1 Steak in America and has one of the finest wine cellars in the world. Five dining rooms and a separate club aned Jimmy Z's will no doubt cature all your senses for a full evening of wonderful cuisine, beautiful people, music, entertainment and dancing. The Forge won the 2004 Five Star Diamond Award issued by the AMerican Academy of Hospitality Sciences. Proprieter Shareef Malnik took over the helm at The Forge in 1991 to "inject a shot of hipness" into The Forges elequence and glamour for the creme d' la creme of the South Beach and Miami society. The Forge is popular place for celebrities, so don't be surprised if your dining next to one of your favorites. D,$$$. Vic & Angelos The latest venture of David Manero is the beautiful Vic & Angelos on PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens. This casual but chic environment descibes itself as a modern day "enoteca" (Italian for wine bar restaurant) and offers indoor and outdoor dining. The freshest of ingredients, authentic Neapolitan coal oven pizza, home made pasta and sexy mainplate dishes. An extremely knowledgeable staff and modern yet inviting design makes Vic & Angelos a great experience in Palm Beach Gardens and Delray Beach. L,D,$$ -$$$. |
