A great restaurant just outside Downtown West Palm Beach with both indoor and outdor dining, Henry Flagler brought the beautiful wooden bar from London to New Jersey and finally to his Royal Poinciana Hotel in Palm Beach in 1894. Fine attention has been paid to the decor as well as the cuisine and whether you want Big G's Buffalo Wings or Chilled Colossal Shrip or an amazing Gaucho Steak (18 oz prime bone-in rib-eye,) you must leave room for their exquisite chocolate crème brulee. With so many snowbirds in Florida during the season, we felt an obligation to find a great place to have dinner and drinks, hang out and have fun with a group or find an intimate setting to chill out and not spend $150 - $200. The Cottage is a haven. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Antoine and his brother Andre and discoved that The Cottage is one of those places you'll feel immediately at home and comfortable in whether you're inside their dining room having tapas or handmade fusion cocktails, or outside on their garden patio enjoying a Quesadilla. Low couches, tables, swing chairs and a tented area away from the main outside bar area. Their inside bar sports an illuminated stained glass wall from a cathedral's salvage sale.The weekends are always fun at The Cottage day or night but one of our favorite nights of the week there is Monday Night.
